As content creators…We need to give people what they ask for—not what we “think” they want.Take the viewer feedback.Implement it.And show them that their voices matter.Make them feel included in your content production.

Love this! I'm always asking for genuine and constructive feedback from others. It is so helpful in leveling up your content and finding the topics people want to hear about.

I think humor is funny | So I post funny (not boring) videos/content; mostly random Sales and LinkedIn observations | Oh, and I'm a SaaS founder | And host of a hilarious retro sales game show

Feedback is super valuable. But sometimes you need to trust your gut, too.

Big call out here -- being open to feedback without bias. Love it

Love this take. I am running a movement right now and the feedback was to change the name... So we did! This built a level of trust and now they are more than willing to help out.

Let me tell you how tough the job market really is.Tanya Sherman reached out to me, urgently needing a job after being laid off.I happened to know a close friend who’s currently rebuilding his entire sales organization and is hiring.I made the intro. He immediately agreed to the call.First thing that stood out…The very next day, she DMs both of us with a detailed video presentation, including:👉🏾 Her sales experience👉🏾 Research on the company and the scope of her role👉🏾 The impact she’ll bring to the company👉🏾 Thorough questions for the interviewer👉🏾 A request for feedback for future interviewsShe had already secured the call and still took the initiative to go above and beyond.Second thing that stood out…Was this statement from her presentation:“Compensation is definitely under what my typical base salary would look like, but I’m willing to take a step back to take a step forward, should there be an opportunity to move to a more senior role.”I love how she addressed this concern and turned it into something greater. Not only is she willing to take a pay cut and start from scratch, but she’s already showing her willingness to prove herself and grow within the company. She gave 110% for a meeting that was almost guaranteed from a direct referral to the decision-maker.How is someone with this much work ethic still on the market? Can we please help Tanya find her next sales role.

This is your sign to start implementing video into your social media strategy. If you’re noticing the trends, videos are becoming more powerful on LinkedIn.My last two videos combined for over 400,000 impressions and are still growing rapidly.Compared to my typical average of 2,000-4,000 per post. That’s over an 8000% increase in engagement, and I’m still under 10k followers. If this isn’t proof enough, then I don’t know what is.

I’ve noticed that a small group of people don’t approve of where LinkedIn is headed:👉🏾 Videos becoming the leading driver of engagement.👉🏾 Viral TikTok/IG trends transitioning to a “professional” platform.👉🏾 More Gen Z terminology being used in content.👉🏾 Non-work-related content being prioritized by the algorithm.Trends and algorithms change every day. It’s okay to have different opinions, but adapting to what works is key to staying relevant. And lets not forget…It’s just social media; we’re still people too.

I’ve built my brand around transparency and vulnerability. Why?Because there are people who have the same problems but are afraid to reach out for help.I want to be the example for people to overcome their challenges.I want to be a resource for those who didn’t grow up with a mentor and are seeking guidance. The goal of my content is to educate and help people become better.

I’m stoked to announce that I will be starting a new role as…Content & Social Media Manager at The Operations Company.I am beyond excited to help this team grow their brand and build a successful social media engine.Let me explain why this opportunity was a no-brainer for me.When I posted about being laid off, Kyle Freitas was the first to reach out, making it clear he was there to help me win.The following week, I met with him and Nick Bertolino. The energy on that call was unreal, and their passion for the company was unmatched. After our meeting, Kyle kept the momentum going. We exchanged ideas, he sent me swag, and he couldn’t wait to see the content we’d create.Once we agreed to move forward, they were incredibly accommodating. Any request or concern I brought up was met with responsiveness and creativity, ensuring we were aligned and I was set up for success. They understood social media, emphasized a long-term relationship, genuinely believed in my growth, and acknowledged my abilities to help them succeed.I was honored to sign that offer letter, and anyone would be lucky to work with them.A quick rundown of what we do:We are a Diamond Tier HubSpot partner, helping configure HubSpot for your Customer Journey. This includes Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Rev Ops, and Website building for industries like B2B SaaS, FinTech, Healthcare, and more.I start my new role on Monday, and I am THRILLED to take off.

I almost gave up on LinkedIn.The job market was so insane that I reached the point of burnout.Posting stopped. It felt like I was being a nuisance constantly asking for help.Embarrassment about the layoff set in.I fell completely off the radar. Then it became clear that I was the cause of my own setbacks.I stopped fulfilling the duties that every company needs in a social media/community manager.I stopped showing people that I can do the job.So, gave it one more shot.My first post back generated over 19,000 impressions, 450 likes, and tons of encouragement from my community.Later that evening, 2 opportunities came to my door.4 days later, the green banner was gone.I’m off the market. And the offer was SIGNED!= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = But what if I had given up?What If I didn’t make that extra post? What If I had made that post sooner? The point is, don’t give up on your goals. Because it’s a lot closer than you think.
