Hey y’all!
For two months, this group has been thriving in all the ways a group can and does. We’ve created such a welcoming home and honestly, I can’t thank you enough for letting us be your admins. After some internal reflection by both myself and Sarah, we’ve come to the realization that running a group this large and successful just isn’t the right fit for us right now. This hurts do say, I won’t lie. It feels unfair to pull the plug on a group that is thriving, but we just know that each of you deserves the leadership that can be committed and invested. As of late, that’s just not where Sarah and I feel we are drawn to.
I don’t have a one size fits all bandaid for how to move forward. If someone wants to take on the concept we created and move forward with it, let me know. If you want to apply for another group, I know two really great ones I can recommend. Otherwise, the only real offering I have is a bit unconventional.
Sarah and I have decided to move to a more relaxed style of writing, one that she described as a “networking” group of sorts for indie writing. If you’re interested in writing with either of us and potentially other members of this group in that laid-back, no requirements sort of setting, just let me or Sarah know and we’ll plug you in right away. We don’t want to give up writing and having so many great writing partners that this community has created. We just don’t think a formal group is the right fit for either of us anymore, ya know?
That being said, we adore you all to bits. Thank you for being part of Tupelo, and I am always here if you need a listening ear or a friend to talk to. Thank you for your friendship and support in all the things. You guys rock, and this isn’t just a generic blanket statement. I’ve never been part of a group as wholesome and supportive and uplifting as this. Truly, thank you all for calling Tupelo home for these past two months.

Do you have a hiatus list?
Our hiatus list is tucked in to our masterlist because I like to see all that info in one place when I’m checking a main. We do our best to update it as soon as someone requests a hiatus and will leave it up for a couple days after so people can see that they’re coming back from one just in case that mun doesn’t tell us in the Discord or they miss it.
