You can disable Link from your payment method settings page in your Dashboard. For Stripe Elements users, Link is available to all users for Web via the Payment Element, Payment Request Button Element, and the Card Element. And for mobile iOS and Android, it's available via the Mobile Payment Element.

Stripe automatically enables Link in the Card Element. If you want to turn Link off for all instances of the Card Element, visit the Link section of your payment Method settings and disable the Link in Card Element setting.

At some point, you may have made a purchase at one of these businesses and saved your payment information for future usage. Link sends a six-digit verification code via SMS to your mobile phone number or email address to confirm that it is indeed you who is making the purchase.

If you are a merchant or platform that has access to the standard Stripe dashboard, you can disconnect your financial accounts at any time by visiting your linked accounts settings page and unlinking any of the linked accounts by clicking “Manage” and selecting “Remove account".

The owner of a Stripe account can close the account by navigating to Settings > Account details in the Dashboard. On the Account details page, scroll to the bottom and click Close account. Make sure you're logged in to the account that you want to close.
